Action description

The mobility of the future primarily means the digitalization and networking of transport infrastructure and its participants - from pedestrians to micro-mobility and public transport through to private transport. This makes it possible to share data and has considerable potential to relieve conurbations and reduce safety risks.
From the perspective of regulatory and legal requirements, this means considerable additional work for the mobility of the future, especially in the areas of OEMs, mobility service providers, cities and municipalities. In addition to the EU GDPR and cyber security requirements, laws such as the EU Data Act and the EU AI Act in particular will have a significant impact on future mobility solutions within Europe. It is therefore important to set up organizations now to implement these legal requirements, interpret the laws and identify and implement the necessary measures. Only then will companies and public sectors be legally equipped for future issues - such as inner-city zones for autonomous driving - for the protection and benefit of consumers and society.
