Action description

Cyber attacks often target vulnerabilities in infrastructures and software environments and thus specifically endanger the secure and reliable operation of all services and organisations based on them. For new, unknown vulnerabilities, visual and interactive forensics plays an important role in analysing cyber attacks on this infrastructure and data worthy of protection in order to prevent further damage. In order to achieve a higher level of security and privacy, large volumes of data must be processed and - wherever human experts are also required - visualised in the best possible way for cyber security applications. Methods that combine automatic data analysis, AI and machine learning with suitable visualisation methods have proven to be effective for this purpose in order to enable traceability and decisions by the user group based on the data. The presentation will provide insights into current possibilities for the visual-interactive analysis of network data, the visualisation of global geo-IP routes, the analysis of privacy for users of online services and the visual analysis of software vulnerabilities. It also shows ways in which these possibilities can be specifically integrated into your own environments and technologies.  ... read more
