The shortage of skilled workers and young talent does not stop at IT security. However, the full potential is far from being exploited, as the proportion of women in the industry, at 11%, is well below average by international standards.
In addition, we need a diverse view and approach to product and solution development in IT and information security. How can we get more women interested in IT security? What measures are particularly effective in promoting women in IT security companies? What knowledge is needed for a lateral entry and how does it succeed? These and other questions are the focus of the Women in Cybersecurity discussion series.
Women in Cybersecurity at it-sa 2023 aims to spark interest in IT security among women, make employers aware of the potential of more women, and make Female Rolemodels in IT security more visible.
