If we look at the current cyber threat situation, this question can quickly be answered with a "yes". This is because cybercriminals specifically rely on emotions and interpersonal relationships in their cyberattacks, e.g., to persuade e-mail recipients to click or open files.
It is therefore essential to sustainably integrate employees into the cybersecurity strategy and to build a culture of cybersecurity. Especially when it comes to creative and above all critical thinking, people are superior to "machines". Organizations should therefore use these skills sustainably and strategically for their cyber defense. This is especially true for organizations that are part of the critical infrastructure (CRITIS). They are a popular target for cyberattacks and should therefore effectively implement as many layers of security as possible.
DriveLock addresses this need by providing appropriate solutions that promote and enhance employee security awareness.
In this presentation, Michael Zein uses the example of a hospital to show how such a solution can be deployed in practice. Hospitals and clinics have been particularly hard hit by cyberattacks in recent years and are particularly well suited to illustrate this point because they have to address several special challenges at once.
