The DIN SPEC "IT Security Consulting for Small and Micro Enterprises
The mIT Standard sicher funding project is developing a standard for IT security consulting for small and micro enterprises. These have often already recognised the great importance of IT security measures in advancing digitalisation, but are dependent on external service providers for planning and implementation.
With the standard to be developed, small businesses with up to 50 employees can receive qualified advice that
- guarantees a high level of protection after implementation,
- takes into account the financial and human resources and needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, and
- enable the companies to develop decision-making competence themselves

Train IT and information security in the company?
It's easy with the mIT Security Training project.
More IT security measures - this is becoming an increasingly urgent topic in small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany, because attacks on IT security infrastructures are steadily increasing.  
 
Now training companies are getting support through the funded sub-project* "mIT Sicherheit ausbilden" (train with security). It is being implemented by Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. (DsiN) together with the Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft e.V. (BVMW).  
The aim of these workshops is to familiarise those responsible for training in SMEs with methods and didactics for the safe handling of IT and information in the training company. The knowledge imparted is to be passed on by the trainers to their trainees and thus integrated into the company.

The circle of experts consists of a conglomerate of different specialists. Corporate security is a wide-ranging term, yet it is comprehensively covered by our members. Tips and tricks on IT and information security are prepared here by SMEs for SMEs. One of a total of five working groups deals decisively with this focus. External and internal influences, technical and human failure, or understanding in dealing with the digital world and its effects represent the greatest challenges and at the same time the best opportunities in today's working environment.
