Successful digital offerings: The industry year 2022 with it-sa 365

As the "Home of IT Security", it-sa has made a name for itself among IT security providers and managers. Since 2020, anyone looking for it will find the home for IT security specialists not only in Nuremberg, but also online: In addition to it-sa Expo&Congress, the digital dialogue platform it-sa 365 offers knowledge transfer, networking opportunities and a comprehensive market overview - completely independent of location and at any time, 365 days a year.

Tripling the number of users

Since its premiere two years ago, the number of registered users has more than tripled: around 9,300 IT security experts from 44 countries currently access the complete scope of it-sa 365. Almost 30 percent of the users are CISO, CIO or other C-level decision makers as well as group and project managers. At the operational level, typical users include IT security administrators, IT security analysts and consultants.

Why do they use the platform? Primarily to get an overview of the market, find innovations and expand their own expertise. But the focused search for solutions and networking within the IT security community at it-sa 365 are also important goals for users. For this purpose, they have access to the offerings of the almost 800 participating providers: their product information and numerous contributions from individual companies. In various formats, they provide information about their products and solutions - from white papers to dialogue-oriented online presentations or lively discussion rounds. The signs set for success: the industry year 2022 at a glance

While the trade fair in October marks the highlight of the industry year, it-sa 365 offers numerous recurring information offerings: In the year between it-sa Expo&Congress 2021 and the follow-up event, a total of 140 individual contributions took place online. Participants dialled in via the dialogue platform around 5,000 times.

The IT Security Talks in March and May and the it-sa Preview Day before the trade fair are key events during the year: On two days each, the companies participating in the IT Security Talks present current products and information in live presentations. The Digital Preview Day before the trade fair offers exhibitors the perfect opportunity to point out trade fair highlights and already make the first (digital) contact with trade fair visitors.

Numerous other formats brought individual providers or experts into the spotlight this year: After Work Talks on topics such as "Women in Cybersecurity", study results, current developments and trends in IT security take place at it-sa 365, as does specific specialist information, for example for CRITIS operators in the corresponding it-sa Infocube. The dialogue platform also plays an important role in the ATHENE Startup Award UP@it-sa, which honours outstanding innovations by cybersecurity newcomers. New formats such as accompanying the trade fair (it-sa@home) or the new IT Security Update series stand for the continuous development of it-sa 365.
