Many companies use Microsoft security products as an AV solution, EDR or for AD monitoring. At the same time, the need to monitor such security systems and to verify and follow up on the alarms generated there is increasing. Since the events of the various Microsoft Defender products are already in the Microsoft cloud, new SOC operating models are possible in which an external service provider no longer has to operate its own SIEM, but only needs access to the Sentinel in its customers' Azure tenant. BlueVoyant is one of the most successful providers worldwide in this area.
