In order to increase security awareness various measures can be used. But it must also be verifiable whether they are effective and sustainable, whether the investment is worthwhile and in what way the employees can be trained in the best way. The Employee Security Index, which is presented in the white paper, is designed to make this possible. The benchmark should be able to measure the security behavior of employees realistically, standardized and reproducibly. The white paper explains it in detail and presents real data from over 60 European companies. Readers gain a revealing insight into the area of security awareness and can thus take appropriate measures in their own environment and decide on the use of the benchmark as a control instrument.
