Generative AI and all the other AI-driven projects are enabling what has long been touted to the security community by the security industry: Security Automation. According to Vantage Market & Research's market analysis, the security industry will generate more than $22 billion in revenue from AI by 2030. Skills shortages, skills gaps, alert fatigue, technology sprawl all these challenges will then be solved once and for all. But the same opportunities are of course also available to the other side, with all its downsides. The possibilities to optimize processes, to increase speed and performance seem almost unlimited for both, attacker, and defender. In short, AI seems like the "42", the answer to everything. But this is precisely where the problem lies; the "answers" generated via AI must be interpreted, often still honed, and in any case regularly checked according to certain quality characteristics until further notice. Is AI therefore really already the "42" for the security community or is it yet another technology that needs to be secured just like all the previous ones? This is exactly what will be discussed in the panel.
